Prior to joining Mt. SAC, Ramirez spent three seasons as an offensive line coach at his alma mater, San Dimas High School. During his time there, he played a key role in guiding the Saints to their first CIF Championship in 2009, and developed two All-CIF Offensive Linemen along with four All-Valle Vista League Offensive Linemen.

Ramirez played center at Mt. SAC during the 2006 and 2007 seasons. His contributions were instrumental to the team's success, including winning the SoCal Championship in 2007 along with two conference titles and two bowl championships.

Following his time as a student-athlete at Mt. SAC, Ramirez earned a full-ride scholarship to Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He completed a bachelor's degree in applied studies and a master's degree in physical education, both from Azusa Pacific University.

Outside of football, Ramirez enjoys working out, going to the movies and attending Dodgers, Lakers and Rams games with his wife, Analycia. The couple resides in Ontario with their dogs, Oliver and Coco.
