Cameron Deen began his tenure with the Mt. San Antonio College Football staff in 2016 as the quarterbacks coach. He returned to Mt. SAC in 2015 after spending two seasons at Whittier College, where he served as the Poets' recruiting coordinator and coached the wide receivers and tight ends.
A standout quarterback at South Hills High School in West Covina, Deen earned a scholarship to play at the University of Northern Colorado (FCS). In 2011, he transferred to Mt. SAC, where he led the Mounties to the California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) State Championship game. Following his successful season, he accepted a scholarship to continue his athletic and academic career at Middle Tennessee State University (C-USA).
Deen went on to earn a bachelor's degree in communications from California Lutheran University in 2014, a master's degree in education from Whittier College in 2016, and a master's in kinesiology from Fresno State in 2020.
He is passionate about giving back to the community and committed to supporting the development of young athletes both on and off the field. His connection to Mt. SAC Athletics runs deep, with his grandfather having played on the men's basketball team and his father on the football team.
Outside of coaching, Deen enjoys spending time with his family, recruiting talented athletes, and pursuing hobbies such as fishing, golfing, pickleball, and cornhole. He recently married his wife, Christine, and the couple resides in Diamond Bar.
