A standout Quarterback at South Hills High School in West Covina, Deen received a scholarship to the University of Northern Colorado (FCS).  In 2011, he transferred to Mt. SAC, where he led the Mounties to the California Community College Athletic Association State Championship game. Following this success, he earned a scholarship to Middle Tennessee State University (C-USA) where he continued his academic and athletic career.

Deen earned his bachelor's degree in communications from California Lutheran University in 2014, followed by a master's degree in education from Whittier College in 2016, and a master's degree in kinesiology from Fresno State in 2020.

He is passionate about giving back to the community and helping aspiring young athletes achieve their goals both on and off the field.

Mt. SAC Athletics holds a special place in Deen's family history with his grandfather having played on the Men's Basketball team and his father having played on the Mt. SAC Football team.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Deen enjoys spending time with his family, recruiting talented athletes, and engaging in activities such as fishing, golfing, pickleball and corn hole.

He currently resides in Diamond Bar.
