Bernard Ventura began his tenure with the Mounties in 2016, where he coached the offensive line until transitioning to the defensive line in the 2022 season.

With over 30 years of coaching experience in both football and softball at the high school and college levels, Ventura brings a wealth of expertise to his role. During the off-season, he improves his knowledge by working with former NFL All-Pro Jesse Sapolu at the MITT Academy in Orange County, which specializes in lineman training.

Ventura is married with two sons and a daughter. His sons, Mark and David, both played at Mt. SAC, while his daughter, Ashley, played softball at Utah State University. Ventura and his wife are proud grandparents to their 6-year-old granddaughter, Poet.
