Ryan Grant joined Mt. SAC as an Athletic Equipment Technician in 2022 where he oversees daily equipment operations for the gym complex. His responsibilities extend to supporting several sports teams including Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Wrestling and Women's Volleyball. In addition to his role with the teams, Grant provides assistance to Kinesiology and Physical Education classes that utilize the gym facility. 
 
Grant's professional experience showcases his robust background in equipment management and support: 
  • Athletic Program Assistant at Santa Barbara City College (CCCAA) from 2021 to 2022.
  • Volunteer Equipment Coordinator for Chandler High School Football in 2020 during the Covid year.
  • Athletic Equipment Specialist at Irvine Valley College (CCCAA) from 2017 to 2019.
  • Visiting Team Player Attendant with the Los Angeles Clippers (NBA) from 2017 to 2018.
  • Equipment Intern with Arizona State University Football (NCAA FBS) from 2014 to 2015.
  • Baseball Clubhouse Manager for the Grand Junction Rockies (MiLB) in 2013.
  • Spring Training Clubhouse Assistant with the Colorado Rockies (MLB) from 2011 to 2013.

Grant earned his bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies in business and recreation management from Arizona State University. 
 
Outside of his professional commitments at Mt. SAC, Grant is an avid lacrosse player, participating in competitive and recreational men's leagues throughout Southern California on a weekly basis. He also serves as the Owner and General Manager of a Men's Club Lacrosse team based in Orange County. He loves coaching lacrosse, working on cars, visiting arcades and attending sporting events and concerts. 
Grant was raised in Tempe, Arizona and currently resides in Diamond Bar.
