Mike Landas joined Mt. San Antonio College as a full-time Athletic Trainer in 2017 where he oversees the medical care and wellbeing of student-athletes across several teams including Baseball, Football, Men's Golf and Women's Beach Volleyball.
Landas brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his role and has served as an Athletic Trainer at numerous events such as the Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational, Mt. SAC Relays, Footlocker West Regional Cross Country Championships, LA84 Foundation Youth Days, the USA Track and Field National Pole Vault Summit, and various athletics tournaments.
In addition to his athletic training responsibilities, Landas contributes to education at Mt. SAC as an Adjunct Professor of Kinesiology. Some of the classes he teaches include First Aid and CPR (KIN3), Intro to Care/Prevention of Athletic/Sports Related Injuries (KIN19), and Athletic Trainer Aide Work Experience (KIN92). Previously, he also taught in the Wellness Center and in the 50G Weightroom.
Landas received his bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Cal Poly Pomona and his master's degree in sports management from California State University, Long Beach. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and holds certificates in Function Movement Techniques (FMT) and Performance Movement Taping (PMT). He also serves as a preceptor for ATEP Programs at Azusa Pacific University, Cal State Long Beach, University of La Verne and Chapman University.
Landas resides in West Covina, California.
