(Walnut, CA) Host Mt. San Antonio College came up short, 5-4, in a non-conference match against Ventura College (3-0) on Friday, Feb. 9, to fall to 0-2 in the young 2024 season.

In singles play, Julianna Vich, Paige Valenzuela (6-1, 6-2), and Azalia Rodriguez (6-2, 6-3) won their matches to pick up team points for the Mounties.

The team of Vich/Valenzuela won its match, 8-3, to post the only doubles team point for Mt. SAC.

The Mounties return to the courts on Wednesday, Feb. 14, for a non-conference home match against Hope International College at 2 p.m.
