The Mt. SAC Sports Information Office serves as the direct liason between the college's 22 varsity sports and the media/local community.  The office also serves the needs of the national and international media who cover the world reknown Mt. SAC Athletic Special Events (Mt. SAC Relays, Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational, Footlocker Cross Country Championships, and various other special events).

MEDIA INFORMATION

Media Credentials:
All requests for press, photo and parking credentials must be directed to the Sports Information Office by phone or email.  Media Credentials are ONLY ISSUED to legitimate news agencies.  Due to the number of requests submitted at certain Special Events, some requests may be denied a credential.

Interview Policy:
 All interviews with coaches, student-athletes, participants and other personnel MUST be arranged through the Sports Information Office. In person interviews for Mt. SAC Coaches and Student/Athletes may be scheduled before or after practice, as well as following sporting events. Phone interviews may also be scheduled with the Sports Information Office and athlete’s/coach’s consent.

Photography:
Photographers, with credentials, are permitted to shoot sporting events from designated areas that do not affect play. Please contact the Sports Information Office for passes/credentials.

Visiting Radio/Internet/Television Broadcasters:
Media outlets wishing to broadcast sporting events at Mt. SAC must contact the Sports Information Office and receive credentialing prior to the event. A phone line or internet connection (wireless or wired) may be provided if requested.
