(Walnut, CA) Ranked No. 12 in the current California Community College Sports Information Association state poll, Pasadena City College (10-2-4, 3-2) came up short, 1-0, against No. 3-ranked host Mt. San Antonio College (11-2-2, 4-0-1) in a South Coast Conference North Division game on Tuesday, Oct. 17.

In spite of the Mounties' 14 shots on goal, the game went scoreless until the 80th minute when Kathryn Davis connected on an assist from Brianna Bernal that proved to be the decisive goal for Mt. SAC.

Goalie Anai Olmedo kept the Lancers scoreless with three saves in 90 minutes for the Mounties.

Next up, Compton College (4-8-1, 1-3) visits Mt. SAC for an SCC crossover game on Friday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m. The Tartars are fresh off a 3-0 defeat against El Camino College (9-3-1, 4-1).
