Mt. SAC Men's Track & Field represents well at Ben Brown Invitational

(Fullerton, CA) In a field of 26 teams from clubs, junior colleges, and universities, Mt. San Antonio College athletes finished first in one, second in four, and third in three events at the Ben Brown Invitational at California State University Fullerton on Friday and Saturday, March 8-9.

In the 400 meters, Romelio Jenkins turned in the Mounties' lone first-place finish.

Second-place finishes came from Jake Jensen (200 meters), Devin Paton (400 hurdles), Dominic Tubbs (javelin), and the 4x100 relay team (Jensen, Caleb Harrell, Jenkins, Asani Hampton).

Jaylend Howard (400 meters), Reid Lockliear (400 hurdles), and the 4x400 relay team (Nicholas Nocero, Paton, Lockliear, Jenkins) finished third in their events.

Mt. SAC will next compete in the RCC Open at Riverside City College on Friday, March 15.
