Mt. SAC Men's Track & Field takes top spot at RCC Invitational

(Riverside, CA) With 158 points, Mt. San Antonio College captured first place at the 2024  Riverside City College Invitational on Friday, March 1. Host RCC came in second with 147.5 points and San Diego Mesa College placed third with 86.

In 19 events, Mountie athletes finished first in four, second in five, and third in three.

First-place performances came from Jordan Berkley (800 meters), Christian Baker (110 hurdles), Devin Paton (400 hurdles), and Quintin Dukes (pole vault).

Dominic Tubbs (javelin), Mateo Guerra (pole vault), Reid Lockliear (400 hurdles), Ian Crocker (3000 meters), and the 4x400 meter team (Paton, Nicholas Nocero, Santiago Orozco, Lockliear) took second in their events.

Third-place finishes included Austin Pepito (pole vault), Eli Nieves (pole vault), and Terrence Sweetman (triple jump).

Mt. SAC will next compete in the Ben Brown Invitational at California State University Fullerton on Friday and Saturday, March 8-9.
