(Temecula, CA) Coming into the Orange Empire Conference Finals on Monday (April 22), the Mt. SAC Men's Golf team led the Inland Division with a record of 28-10, ahead of the College of the Desert by five wins (23-15).

COD finished first (376) and third (386) in the two rounds held at Temecula Creek Golf Course, while Mt. SAC finished fifth (398) and seventh (394). As a result, the Mounties slipped to second place in the final Inland Division standings.

COD won the division with a 39-17 record, while the Mounties finished second with a 36-20 record. Riverside placed third at 27-29.

Leading the Mounties were Trevor Ruiz (77-74) and Jacob Riegg (75-76) with a combined score of 151, while Aaron Fekin (79-82) carded a 161.

Keefe Pantayatiwong (81-83) finished with a score of 164, and Kobe Trujillo (83-83) finished with a score of 166.

The 3C2A SoCals start on Sunday, May 5, and conclude on Monday, May 6, at Rio Bravo Country Club in Bakersfield. The event will be hosted by Bakersfield College.
