Glendale, Calif. – The Mt. SAC Women's Tennis Team put on a stellar performance in their match against Glendale Community College on Thursday, January 30, defeating them 9-0. With this win, the Mounties' record improves to 2-0, continuing their impressive start to the season.

In doubles play, Paige Valenzuela and Kasandra Uy made quick work of their opponents, securing a dominant 8-0 win. Sichen Chang and Mia Vo matched that energy with another 8-0 sweep, while Emma Cervantes and Mandy Rivera were awarded a win by default.

The Mounties carried their momentum into singles, where Valenzuela shined with a 6-0, 6-2 victory. Uy and Vo both cruised to 6-1, 6-1 wins, while Chang finished strong with scores of 6-0, 6-1. Cervantes completed the shutout with a commanding 6-0, 6-0 victory, and Rivera secured another default win.

Next up, the Mounties host LA Mission today (January 31) at 2:00 PM. Come out and cheer them on as they go for another win. Good luck, ladies – game, set, match!
