(Walnut, CA) On a hot afternoon, the Mt. SAC Women's Tennis team (3-2) captured a 6-3 win over visiting Mt. San Jacinto (0-2) on Thursday, April 29. Three of the Mounties' team points were by default, two in singles play, and one in doubles.

Mt. SAC's Cassandra Paulson defeated the Eagles' Frexie Maralit in their singles match, 6-2, 7-5. In doubles play, the teams of Nicole Escamillo/Priscilla Pranajasa (8-6) and Paulson/Alejandra Vasquez (8-2) picked up wins for the Mounties.

Next up for Mt. SAC is a rematch at Mt. San Jacinto on Tuesday, May 4, at 2 p.m. This will be the third time the teams have met this season.
