
Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. – The Mt. San Antonio College Women's Swim Team dove into action at their dual conference meet on Friday, March 21. In a show of aquatic dominance, the Mounties powered past both Chaffey College (219-25) and Rio Hondo College (219-22). The team claimed first place in all 14 events, with several swimmers collecting multiple wins along the way.
In the relays, Mt. SAC took first place in both the 200 Medley Relay and the 400 Free Relay. The 200 Medley Relay team, consisting of Elleanna Ramos, Carolyn Kao, Paige Fast, Spencer Damaske and Sarah Tolmasoff, finished with a time of 1:54.76. In the 400 Free Relay, the same group of swimmers clinched first place with a time of 3:57.05.
In the individual events, Eden Kennedy won the 1000 Free with a time of 12:24.27, while Spencer Damaske took first in both the 500 Free (5:35.96) and the 100 Breast (1:11.79). Elleanna Ramos triumphed in the 200 Free (2:02.87) and both the 100 Fly and 200 Fly with times of 58.06 and 2:19.22 respectively. Carolyn Kao secured first place in the 100 Free (55.43) and the 50 Free (25.61) as well as the 200 IM (2:20.73). Paige Fast dominated the backstroke events, winning the 200 Back (2:16.72) and the 100 Back (1:02.71). Sarah Tolmasoff finished first in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:55.11.

The Mounties will next compete against Long Beach City College in a conference meet on Friday, March 28, starting at 10:00 AM.
