Mt. SAC Women’s Swimming Dominates El Camino, 179-84, and Rio Hondo, 222-31; Fast and Ramos Win Two Events Each

(Walnut, CA) With a completely dominating performance, the Mt. SAC Women's Swimming team defeated El Camino, 179-84, and Rio Hondo, 222-31, in a South Coast Conference meet on Friday and Saturday, March 8th and 9th.

Mt. SAC won 10 of the 15 events in the double dual meet. The Mounties were led by freshmen Paige Fast and Elleanna Ramos, each securing two individual wins. Fast claimed victory in the 100 and 200 Backstroke events, while Ramos triumphed in the 100 and 200 Butterfly.

Other individual winners included Mekala Valentin (1000 Freestyle), Madison Dorsey (200 Free), Aniela Sabadin (200 Breaststroke), Brianna Solis (1 Meter Diving), and Genevieve Niko (100 Free).

The Mounties clinched one of the two relays, finishing first in the final race of the day – the 400 Free Relay, with the team comprising Fast, Ramos, Kennedy, and Niko.

Next, the Mounties will travel up North to San Luis Obispo on Friday and Saturday (March 8th and 9th) for their annual trip to the Cuesta College Invitational.
