(Walnut, CA) The Mt. SAC Softball team finally finished the long-delayed game against Long Beach City College with a 7-5 win and lost the regularly scheduled game, 3-0, on Thursday, April 18.

After two lightning and rain-delayed attempts to finish a game against the Vikings, the Mounties, with a quick two outs, put an end to the game with a 7-5 win.

Mt. SAC's Aleyna Urbina made quick work of Long Beach to pick up the save, and sophomore Dallas Garcia (10-0) got the win.

Alyssa Rubalcava (4-4, R, RBI, Dbl.) and Morgan Kneubuhler (3-3, R, 3 RBIs, Dbl.) led the Mounties.

In the scheduled game, Long Beach's Bayleigh Fry limited the Mounties to four hits en route to her 16th win of the season, while Urbina (10-6) suffered the loss.

Highlighting the pregame activities was a strong contingent of ladies from the Red Hat Society, with Queen Josie Silva throwing out the first pitch.

The Mounties finish the regular season with home games against PCC (Friday, April 19) and L.A. Mission (Wednesday, April 24).
