Walnut, Calif. – The Mt. SAC Men's Swimming and Diving Team blew Pasadena City College out of the water in a conference meet with a final score of 216.5 – 50.5 on Friday, March 14. The team's dominance was evident throughout the competition, with numerous first-place finishes in both individual and relay events.

The meet kicked off with the 200 Medley Relay, where Mt. SAC claimed first place with a time of 1:37.50. The relay team consisted of Luke Marsden, Michael Di Bello, Jack Painton, Ray Chun, and Gavin Roberts, who set the tone for the rest of the competition.

In the 1000 Free, Painton put on a stellar performance to secure first place with a time of 10:00.91. Meanwhile, Ethan Lopez finished strong in the 200 Free to take first place in 1:51.84, while also pulling out a first-place finish in the 100 Fly (54.66).

Dibello continued to excel for the Mounties adding first place finishes in both the 100 Back (55.01) and the 200 IM (2:00.36). Marsden also kept pace, claiming first place in the 100 Breast and 200 Breast with times of 58.87 and 2:11.71 respectively. The momentum carried over to the 200 Fly, where Thomas Chavez earned first place with a time of 2:06.85.

Chun was another standout performer, capturing first place in the 50 Free with a time of 22.08 and second place in the 100 Free, clocking in at 50.20.

Michael Evangelista secured first place in diving with a score of 130.80 points and Michael Lu came in clutch with a first place finish in the 200 Back (1:58.74).  

The meet ended with another victory for Mt. SAC in the 400 Free Relay, where the same relay team finished in 3:15.91.
