
(Walnut, CA) The Mt. SAC Men's Soccer Team earned two South Coast Conference (SCC) top honors and placed eight on all-conference teams.
In his 18th season, Head Coach Juan Sanchez was named the SCC Men's Soccer Coach of the Year. Sanchez led the Mounties to a runner-up finish at the state championships, overall record of 22-1-3 and an undefeated conference record of 6-0-2. This was his 13th SCC Championship and his 10th SCC Coach of the Year Honor.
Sophomore Goalie Alain Hernandez (Downey H.S.) was named Defensive Players of the Year (Led SCC 0.75 GAVG; 36 saves). Hernandez was the stalwart of the defense that allowed only 12 goals on the season.
Along with Hernandez, the following Mt. SAC Men's Soccer Team Members earned All-SCC Honors:
