(Walnut, CA)  The Mt. SAC Men's Soccer Team earned two South Coast Conference (SCC) top honors and placed eight on all-conference teams.

In his 18^th season, Head Coach Juan Sanchez was named the SCC Men's Soccer Coach of the Year.  Sanchez led the Mounties to a runner-up finish at the state championships, overall record of 22-1-3 and an undefeated conference record of 6-0-2.  This was his 13^th SCC Championship and his 10^th SCC Coach of the Year Honor.

Sophomore Goalie Alain Hernandez (Downey H.S.) was named Defensive Players of the Year (Led SCC 0.75 GAVG; 36 saves).  Hernandez was the stalwart of the defense that allowed only 12 goals on the season.

Along with Hernandez, the following Mt. SAC Men's Soccer Team Members earned All-SCC Honors:

• Ivan Escobar (Sophomore Forward)

All-SCC Second Team

• David Aguilar (Sophomore Defender)
• Jacob Sowder (Sophomore Defender)
• John Samano (Freshman Goalkeeper)
• Guilherme Farias (Freshman Midfielder)
