
Riverside, Calif. – The Mt. SAC Men's Golf Team secured a sixth-place finish at the Riverside City College Invitational on Monday, February 24, posting a team score of 385 at Victoria Country Club. The highly competitive 16-team competition saw Santa Barbara claim the top spot with 378, followed by Ventura (379) and Reedley (380).
Cameron Miller led the way for the Mounties, shooting a 73 and earning a dozen golf balls as a tournament prize. Hayden Beltran was close behind with a 75, while James Bergman (78) and Aaron Duran (79) also delivered solid performances. Jacob Reigg added an 80, and Spencer Ramirez rounded out the team's scoring with an 81.
"We had a great showing again yesterday and came in sixth place out of a very strong field," said Head Coach Art Guevara. "Our team score wasn't quite enough to compete with Santa Barbara, but we're within reach."

The Mounties kick off conference play on Wednesday, February 26, at Alondra Park Golf Course in Lawndale, facing El Camino.
