(Pasadena, CA) Four players scored in double digits for Mt. San Antonio College (14-5, 3-1) in an 83-68 South Coast Conference North Division victory over host Pasadena City College (1-18, 0-4) on Friday, Feb. 4.
Shaquil Bender led the Mounties with 17 points, while Dyren Brown (16), Jamal Edmonson (15), and Lowrance McClain (13) rounded out the team's double-digit scoring. Brown also grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.
The Lancers' Jordan Flowers led all players with 23 points.
Mt. SAC dominated in several team categories, including rebounding (48-29), second-chance points (21-5), and points in the paint (46-26).
Next up for the Mounties is an SCC crossover make-up game at Compton College (8-11, 3-3) on Monday, Feb. 7, at 5 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for Dec. 22 but was postponed due to COVID protocol.
SCC North play resumes for Mt. SAC at Rio Hondo (1-17, 0-2) on Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 5 p.m.
