(Norwalk, CA)  The Mt. SAC Mounties Men's Basketball Team placed four members on the All-South Coast Conference (SCC) Team.  Sophomore guard Charlie Evans IV* (7.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.6 assist and 1.3 steals per game), sophomore guard/forward Ashton McLaurin (9.4 points and 5 rebounds per contest) and sophomore guard, Ryon O'Quinn (11.2 points, 4.8 assist, 4.5 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game) all earned spots on a very talented All-SCC North Division Team. For Evans this was his second All-SCC Honor.  

Sophomore Guard Nick Brown was named an SCC Honorable Mention.  

The Mountie Men's Basketball Team finished third in the South Coast Conference North Division.  The Mounties were 7-3 in conference and 17-10 overall.  

The team will begin the 2017 California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Regional Play-offs as the #12 seed and will travel to play #5 seed, San Diego City College (26-5) on Friday, February 24th at 7:00 pm.
