(Whittier, CA) The Mt. SAC Women's Basketball team evened its South Coast Conference North record at 2-2 with a 56-50 win over Rio Hondo College Friday afternoon.
The Mounties improved on their overall record to 18-6 with the victory.
Guard Dominique McLaughlin had a game-high 19 points for the Mounties along with nine rebounds and six steals.
Tianna Burrell (3 of 5 FT, 8 RB, 2 Steals, 4 Blks.) and MyJoi Adams (5 of 9 FG, 7 RB, 2 Stl., 2 Blks.) added 12 and 10 points respectively for the Mounties.
Mt. SAC guard Deja Saiki had seven points and had three steals in the game.
The Mounties return to action this Wednesday, January 31st at home against L.A. Trade-Tech at 5:00 p.m.
