Mt. SAC Men’s Soccer Team Defeats Santa Barbara City College for Third Straight Win

The Mt. SAC Men's Soccer Team continues to excel the season, securing a 2-0 victory over Santa Barbara City College on Friday, September 20.

Christopher Chavez opened the scoring in the 18th minute off an assist from Moises Prado. Felipe Cobian sealed the win with a second goal in the 90th minute assisted by Allan Rosales. Goalkeepers Alex Ledesma and Tristan Flores combined for a clean sheet, facing no shots on goal.

With this win, the Mounties improve their record to 6-0-2, while Santa Barbara falls to 3-4-1. The team's strong performance on both ends of the field showcases their dominance this season.

Next up, Mt. SAC will face off against Oxnard College on Tuesday, September 24, in what is expected to be their toughest match yet. In the latest poll, Mt. SAC is ranked No.3, while Oxnard is ranked No. 5. Stay tuned to see if the Mounties can continue their winning streak.
